Tom Bissenden (Past Speaker)

Tom’s remit is to set the category strategy and partner with stakeholders across the company’s 9 business units to identify and implement commercial opportunities, procurement business improvement and supplier management. The role covers Consulting, Legal, HR, Travel and Corporate Communications. Tom joined Anglo American in 2014 and leads a culturally diverse team across the company’s main regions. He has been in procurement for +18 years and has worked for several FTSE 100 organisations in addition to a short period in consulting.
