Myles Gilbertson (Past Speaker)

Myles has worked for Unilever for over 20 years purchasing materials then services on a local, regional & now global basis.  Previously he worked for Northern Foods then Danone. Unilever has so-far rolled out an MSP/VMS program to 16 countries globally and is now piloting use of MSP/VMS approach for recruitment of SOW workers & for increasing numbers of freelancer & digital workers. The next great challenge is to pilot & roll-out a process & reporting-tool to deliver full visibility of all factory-based contingent workers and to ensure that all vendors are fully compliant with the Unilever Responsible Sourcing Policy ensuring fair & ethical treatment of all our workers globally.
