Julie Smith (Past Speaker)

Julie works with HR leadership teams to deliver effective programmes and solutions that optimise not only their budgets but the impact on the business through innovation, risk management, transformation, supplier management and employee experience.

As a SME in HR, her remit covers all topics in both Talent and Reward, plus outsourcing and HR Shared Services. A trained Facilitator, Julie also delivers HR programmes on a range of topics and learning disciplines.

She has been working in Global Indirects Procurement for more than 10 years at BAT, Agrega (BAT and ABI joint venture), PMI and Syngenta in both the UK and Switzerland.  Prior to this, Julie worked across Indirect categories for large organisations in Australia in both the Financial Services and Consulting industries. She also had a decade in the Travel Industry (Airline and TMC) building expertise in the areas of operational cost management and cross functional project delivery.
