Bev Thaker-Fell (Past Speaker)

Bev is the procurement Category lead for HR & Marketing at Barclays Bank, managing a spend portfolio of circa £1bn. Bev’s remit is to primarily set the spend strategy by providing category expertise and partnering with the business to maximize value from minimal supply, enhance service offering from PSL supply, rationalize non-PSL and tail spend and minimize transaction costs. Bev has had a career in Procurement for 15 years starting with Computacenter as a Procurement analyst before moving into a senior role at the Interpublic Group. She then spent 8 years with Accenture providing HR and Marketing category expertise to a number of external clients prior to joining Barclays in 2013.
